Once you have tested your integration on testnet and are happy with how it works, follow this checklist to switch to mainnet.
Mainnet verifications use real Concordium identities and count toward your billing. Do not switch until your testnet testing is complete.

Go-live checklist

1

Add payment details in the portal

Go to Billing in portal.veriox.io and add a payment method. Verifications will not be processed on mainnet without an active billing setup.
2

Switch your worker to mainnet

Update your wrangler.toml:
[vars]
VERIOX_NETWORK = "mainnet"
Then redeploy:
wrangler deploy
3

Confirm your age threshold

Double-check VERIOX_AGE_THRESHOLD in your wrangler.toml is set correctly for your jurisdiction and use case. See age thresholds.
4

Test with a mainnet wallet

The Concordium mainnet wallet must have a fully verified identity to complete a mainnet proof. Complete one end-to-end verification yourself before opening to real visitors.
5

Monitor your dashboard

Watch portal.veriox.io for the first few verifications to confirm they are appearing as expected.

Your obligations as a merchant

Veriox handles the technical verification. As the merchant, you are responsible for:
  • Ensuring you have a legitimate legal basis for requiring age verification in your jurisdiction
  • Displaying appropriate messaging to visitors explaining why verification is required
  • Complying with any sector-specific age verification regulations that apply to your business
Because Veriox does not store personal data, you do not need to update your privacy policy to cover the verification process itself. However, you should confirm this with your own legal counsel for your specific jurisdiction.
